MY RESEARCH

Despite growing concern about public resistance to scientific findings in domains such as climate change and masking during the COVID-19 pandemic, the political drivers of disbelieving and discrediting science are not yet well-understood. Broadly, my research agenda seeks to identify when and how belief change on politicized science issues is possible. Currently, I am pursuing two major research trajectories, based on the concepts of moral conviction and motivation.
